Welcome to Great Minds Incorporated!!!

Personal Coaching is a dynamic interactive process wherein the coach serves as a catalyst to assist the client in assessing his/her inner wisdom, and ultimately inspiring them to accomplish more via their own internal motivation to do so. And, contrary to popular belief, coaching is not merely for executives anymore. In fact, many individuals who are now leaders of successful organizations employed a coach or coaches to assist them in their rise to the top!

The genesis of Great Minds is both historical and visionary. During my career with General Motors Corporation in Global Human Resources Management, I was blessed to work with many individuals who might be described as “intellectual giants,” great leaders, great thinkers, great minds! And so, my coaching practice is partially in honor of them for the lasting impact they each had on my career, my development, and indeed my life. From a visionary perspective, I have chosen the name Great Minds to indicate the caliber of individuals with whom I choose to work in order to assist high potential individuals in attainment of their goals, and in exceeding beyond their wildest dreams!!!

As an African-American I know first hand the challenges minorities, in particular, face in the workplace. Many struggle to succeed in an environment that does not always appreciate, adequately support, or validate what they are able to contribute via their unique perspectives. I equip them to appreciate, support and validate themselves which enables them to make the contributions required to maximize their potential. I know first hand what it’s like to be the only minority individual in a work group, and the resulting feeling of loneliness coupled with the temptation to think, “may be its just me!” No one enjoys traveling this road alone. And, because I know that diversity is broader than race and gender, I also know these are challenges faced by individuals in all diverse groups in some form or another in their desire to be successful.

How I wish I had a coach to assist me in maneuvering through those challenging and difficult times! You need not travel this road alone, however, because Great Minds Incorporated is here to assist you in this journey!

Having a great mentor is considered to be a primary ingredient for success in the business world. However, great mentors are not always easy to come by, and even individuals with mentors can attest to the value of having a coach as well.

Great Minds Incorporated specializes in meeting the un-met needs of those with and without mentors by assisting in the following:

•     Clarification of what SUCCESS really means to you!

•     Identification of options, alternative paths, and sources of support
